Screenplay of the Month

SPOTLIGHT ON TALENT

Each month, the New Renaissance Film Festival AMSTERDAM,  will select one screenplay from our submissions and make a video reading of a scene taken from the script.

A film director will cast and direct actors to perform the scene. This will be recorded and shared on our social media. The purpose of the video reading is to give you, the writer, a chance to ‘feel’ how your words translate when spoken by actors. It may also help to attract interest from a producer.

The fact that your screenplay has been chosen to be the SCREENPLAY OF THE MONTH, means that we believe in the quality of your writing and that it could be turned into an interesting film.

Please note, however, that the SCREENPLAY OF THE MONTH is separate from the Screenwriting Competition, and being chosen does NOT guarantee you a place into the Official Selection for the New Renaissance Film Festival.
