New Renaissance Best of Fest Award
SOULS OF TOTALITY directed by Richard Raymond. This award celebrates outstanding achievement in every aspect of independent film-making.
New Renaissance Humanity Award
YONLU directed by Hique Montanari. This award highlights and supports films that carry an important social message or tackle a taboo subject. This year’s focus is mental health awareness and the increase in young male suicide. The winning film is based on a true story. Previous winners have included: ‘The Silent Child’, which won the 2018 Oscar for Best Live Action Short.
